This has been a rough weekend. Yesterday from about 5pm on was one big melt down. Everytime I thought it was over he would start back up again. Nothing was making him happy. He would tell me he wanted one thing but freak out when i got it for him telling me "no no back backkk" He cried, screamed and whined for about 5 hours until he finally fell asleep. He woke up in a good mood this morning but was set off when papaw was helping to get him dressed and tried to put his pants on before the shirt (a big no no in Caleb's book) He has been tough to handle and I have barely been able to get anything done as he needs my attention constantly one way or another.
Anyyyways... He turned 3 last Thursday... he had a very good Birthday and Birthday Party, he enjoyed all the gifts and the company. He had his 3 year well-child check and he weighed in at 33lbs, measured 41.5" he is in the 100th percentile for height.
Friday is Caleb's IEP meeting, and then he will start pre-school on Monday. It will be PaPaw or Grandma that takes him the first day(and every day). I must admit that it makes me a little sad that I cannot take him, but there is no way it will happen because I work M-F daylight. I will make sure Grandma and Papaw give me all the details~& of course take pics the first day!
Tonight I was cutting a little pizza for him and he started saying Grace. He learned that at daycare.
