7 months!

Today is Caleb's 7 month birthday!!! I can't believe that in 5 short months he will be a YEAR OLD!



Last week was his 1st time sitting up in a shopping cart. He sat so tall and proud like he's been doing it for months! haha.

He has a 3rd tooth on the bottom, I don't see any signs of the 4th bottom one yet.. but I see 3 on top just under his gums. (I'll try to get pics soon)

He can crawl backwards but hasn't quite mastered going forward yet. He can go from laying to sitting on his own now. He is growing up soo fast.

Caleb's 1st Easter has come and gone. The Easter Bunny brought him lots of goodies!

A new way to sleep. Lately Caleb has been rolling over and sleeping like this. Its toooo cute!

He is now sitting up like a champ!

Caleb has outgrown his infant tub but still isn't steady with the sitting up... So I bought him the ducky tub! He can sit up in it pretty good & he loves splashing in the water.

6 month check up

Caleb has his 6month check up today. He did very well with his shots, he didn't even cry.

If Caleb is awake and not eating or fussing his tongue is out. Its been two days now and he has his tongue out constantly. He used to just poke it out for a few seconds but now he holds it out. I guess he just discovered his tongue and is going thru a phase? Its so funny and cute but I can't help but wonder...why?

5 Months!

(Yeah I realize I'm a week late, but you'll have that when ya have a little one)

18lb 2 oz.
27 1/2 in.

Things are going great. Caleb is growing like a weed and is learning more and more each day. He is rolling all over the place and is starting to learn how to use some of his toys, although he usually just sticks them in his mouth. He hasn't quite grasped sitting up yet. He can do it for a short period on his own but ends up toppling over. It shouldn't be long before he can do it though because he makes more progress each time we try. He is starting to reach for people when he wants picked up but he doesn't do it every time. Recently he has discovered his tongue --he sticks it out a lot. He loves his bumble bee that Santa brought him on Christmas. The other day I seen him smiling and when I looked to see what it was.. it was the bee. He smiles at it when he sees it sitting there. He has also recently discovered the dog. He smiles and gets excited everytime Skamper walks past him. He will be grabbing his ears and pulling his tail in no time(good thing Skampz is a patient dog).

Facial Expressions!

I adore all of Caleb's facial expressions. Even his mad face is cute as heck!

Caleb made some new friends. Today he met Carli and MacKayla. They were both born in September too. At first he was a little grumpy but then he seemed to do okay. I thought he would interact with them a little more then he did. He typically gets all excited when he sees babies in the waiting room at the doctors and such. I think he was just tired today. I hope that he is in a better mood next time he gets to see Carli and MacKayla.
